Jennifer Oxendine

Program Coordinator

I am a 39-year-old Native American professional currently serving as a Program Coordinator with a strong background in human services and community support. I have six years of experience working as a Residential Assistant and one year of experience as a Housing Case Manager, helping individuals and families access stable housing, resources, and supportive services. For the past three years, I have worked with House of Psalms 23 Inc., where I continue to support community-based programs and client advocacy efforts.

In addition to case management and program coordination, I have spent the last two years facilitating classes at the Onondaga County Justice Center and Jamesville Correctional Facility. Through this work, I help provide education, guidance, and support to individuals involved in the justice system, encouraging personal growth, accountability, and positive life changes.

As a parent of four children, I understand the importance of resilience, compassion, and creating opportunities for others. My personal and professional experiences have strengthened my commitment to helping underserved populations and advocating for individuals facing housing instability, reentry challenges, and other barriers.

I am currently pursuing an associate degree in Human Services to continue expanding my knowledge and professional skills. My long-term goal is to continue growing in leadership within the human services field while making a lasting impact in my community through advocacy, education, and supportive programming.
