Join us for an evening dedicated to honoring our supporters, community partners, and participants who make our mission possible. Together, we will celebrate the incredible progress, resilience, and impact of House of Psalms 23. This night is a reflection of our shared commitment to empowerment, healing, and transformation within our community.

Tickets are $60 per person, or $450 for a table of 8.

Celebrating the First Graduating Cohort of the Women’s Empowerment Movement Program

House of Psalms 23 proudly celebrates a milestone moment—the graduation of the first cohort of the Women’s Empowerment Movement (WEM) Program! This transformative initiative was designed to uplift, equip, and empower women as they reclaim their independence and step into their futures with confidence.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to our inaugural graduates: Chavonne Adkinson, Brianna Williams, Essence Reed, Naipriesha Anderson, and Rihnijia. These incredible women have demonstrated resilience, growth, and determination, embracing the tools and support provided through WEM to move forward on their journeys.

During the graduation ceremony, each woman was recognized for her dedication, strength, and commitment to personal growth. The room was filled with joy, reflection, and hope as they celebrated this powerful achievement. The beautifully customized tote bags they received serve as a symbol of their strength and individuality, representing the journey they have embarked upon.

This is just the beginning. House of Psalms 23 remains dedicated to uplifting more women through advocacy, education, and empowerment. We are incredibly proud of this first cohort and can’t wait to see them continue to thrive!

Executive Director for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Syracuse

Jenni Gratien is a part of Central New York

Jenni Gratien has been a part of the Central New York area for 40 years. She is the current Executive Director for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Syracuse . The three clubs in Syracuse provide after school programs in a safe and positive environment for youth ages five to graduation, with a focus on academic success, healthy lifestyles, and character & leadership development.

Previously, she served as the Executive Director for almost 12 years at Chadwick Residence, Inc, which provides supportive housing for homeless women and their families in Syracuse. Jenni has a very diverse educational and professional background. Prior to working for Chadwick Residence, Jenni worked as a Social Studies Teacher for Madison Oneida BOCES and a Case Manager for Onondaga County. She has over 16 years experience working with at risk adults and children.

As a volunteer, Jenni serves on the board of HEAL of Onondaga which provides support to people who struggle with addiction and mental health issues. She holds a Master's Degree in Education and a Bachelor's Degree in Public Justice, both from the State University of New York at Oswego.

Jenni is married with five children and five grandchildren. She is passionate about helping others, enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her family!

Women’s Empowerment Workshop

House of Psalms 23 is proud to present another Women’s Empowerment Workshop this coming fall!

Our focus is to support women who have been involved in the criminal justice society and are looking to rebuild their confidence and re-engage in society in a meaningful way.

This workshop will encompass the 5C’s that every woman should walk boldly in; Courage, Confidence, Communication, Connection, and Career. Participants will engage in career fairs, community engagement with employers, therapy services and outdoor wellness activities. ��

Funded by NYS DOH-Health Research Institute, Women’s Fund of CNY and United Way of CNY!
